vertical or horizontal for this tile?

So this is the tile going in the master shower. Should we run it horizontal or vertical. It reminds me of layers of earth so I was thinking horizontal. The shower is approx 6.5x3.5 and tile will go all the way up to 10ft ceilings. Your thoughts?

Comments (4)I love the hardware on the drawers. Because of the convenient function of the upper cabinets, adding hardware would only provide finished detail to the clean look. If you were to add hardware I would use vertical mounting in a smaller scale similar to your drawer hardware. Comments (2)Will you be keeping the cork tiles on the floor? If so, make the countertop/bench top a similar color. They are both horizontal surfaces. Choose a color you like that has a bit of yellow in the base (ex: tomato red instead of crimson, or lime green rather than mint green)....See More
