HELP with new colour scheme please
Comments (1)Greys would look good in these rooms. I wouldn't paint the paneling. Rather than a mirror over the fireplace a large scale painting would look good....See MoreHelp for bedroom please
Comments (4)I think I would start with the furniture, in terms of space, given that you said it was not a large room. I would check sizing of the furniture and room, to see what would work with the bed, a couch, the wardrobe and any other furniture that you'll be using in the room. From there, I think I would start with the bedding possibly as a starting point for the color scheme. Perhaps you could find bedding with a print you like in the colors that you like, and take from there, the colors for the rest of the room. As well as a sofa bed, another option might be a daybed that could also do double duty as a bed or seating. I think painting the furniture a bring pink would work well against the white. And then take it from there with whatever you've decided to do in terms of the overall color scheme with pink/white/silver/black or pink/orange and white for the walls, perhaps something like a gray as well with the second color combo. Good luck!...See MoreSome help with a bathroom layout please?
Comments (7)I agree you probably need to centre the vanity and the cabinet on the wall or they could look a bit odd! You don't say why you don't want a space between the window and the vanity - just my opinion, but I would think 300mm could be quite useful for a bin, a clothes basket or box, or a small stool for putting clothes on? The only alternative to leaving a space, is to fill it with something as the response above suggested. To avoid it interfering with the window, you could make this something lower, so it sits level with the top of the vanity. This could be built in and the wall lining put over it to create a single "shelf" level with the underside of the vanity top, or if you can find some freestanding open shelving of the correct width, which could also be cut to the correct height, you could wedge that between the wall and the vanity side when fitting the vanity. Just bear in mind also, that you'll lose some of your towel hanging space if you put something too high in the space....See MoreI need advice on window coverings
Comments (3)Hi, Both comments above are what I would do. A Roman blind in the same fabric as your main window will tie the two different windows. See the picture, where I had a small window in an awkward space in the dining room, next to a large window. Keeping the same fabric helps continuity where the windows are vastly different sizes....See Moresiriuskey
