The client brief was to fully furnish & decorate this newly built home. I had

worked with these clients on a few previous residential projects, though this one

was to be designed & decorated for themselves & their fun and energetic young

kids. As being a really busy couple and 3 young kids, they needed a home and

space with minimal clutter, easy maintenance, visually appealing, with some fun

pops of colour.

We designed the kitchen to be visually clean and very user friendly, with interest in

decorative elements like splashback tiling & pendant lighting. High quality

engineered timber flooring, thick look pile carpet & high-end built-in wardrobes were

designed to help keep a visually clear clutter-free environment.

The decorating was achieved on a medium budget, with key functional and

investment pieces being the sofa, dining table & chairs all with a view of longevity in

style and strength. We achieved a contemporary, fun & yet somewhat sophisticated

interior, with the use of grey tones, black details, and oaks to warm it up, with bright

pops of blue in decorative items & artwork. With very busy lives and energetic kids,

they needed a home that would feel as maintenance-free, yet relaxed as possible.
