An interior decorator suggested I buy a series of 3 pieces of art, 750mm. I've ordered some only 13"x19" as they were the only design that suited the space (it's a difficult space!). How do I frame them right so they grow larger and look right ???!
Thanks for your input. unfortunately a mix of artwork won't work as its for beside a bed. The artwork is of italian style urns and need to be large portrait shape pieces of art. One either side of bed, another on an opposite wall.
these examples are to show how any size or shape of picture can be made larger by adding a wide border and/or frame...take your pictures to a professional framer and tell them how tall and wide you need them to be and they will be able to show you how it can be done and for how much.. if your pictures are 13 x 19 inches (33cms x 48cm) the framer will probably suggest to add a border and frame about 27cm split between top and bottom (bottom border usually looks better bigger than top border) and side borders proportionate width..it shouldn't be very difficult although framing is never cheap.
