Choosing the right colours for to decorate my house
Comments (12)The ghost chairs are AMAZING! Very strong and stable. It brings a a lot of space for a small room and the loui style are very classy. Ok I will buy the table, it's goof price and I totally love it. I am living in a construction camp at the moment! Everything is a mess but I hope everything will look beautiful when the renovation finishes. I have just moved in with my partner, the typical manly man and I am the typical burly so it's hard to compromise in colours and styles! Plus there aren't many cost effective options in NZ so decorating is basically a mission!...See MoreHelp - new decorating ideas for small bedroom

Comments (0)Hi, We have recently renovated our kitchen, and have had the idea to turn our living room into a dining room. The idea is, that we would have some really comfy chairs and would be able to relax while sitting around the table; so the dining table wouldn't be only for meals. Then rather than having a dining table, we would have a bench with bar stools on the kitchen/living room wall. (nb the wall is load bearing and cannot easily be removed so this isn't an option). The other option is to keep the living room and set it up with a sofa, coffee table and a couple of occasional chairs. Dining wise we would have a smaller dining table in the kitchen. The living room opens on to the lounge which is set up as a TV room. There is also a guest bedroom and bathroom downstairs; the family bedrooms and bathroom is upstairs. We will also have an outdoor dining table in the undercover area outside the kitchen. I look forward to your thoughts and ideas....See MoreLiving Room Interior Design & furniture setup ideas
Comments (2)Hello Rispah. Depending on how much seating you need, I'm assuming 2 x 3 seater sofas would be enough. I would consider the below layout. This option keeps the traffic from in and out of the exterior doors completely clear and creates a nice intimate setting for the living but still being open to the kitchen for social interaction. Alternatively you could have the sofas facing each other with one sofa backing to the kitchen which would be a more formal approach and encourage the view from outside those doors. If this option suited your lifestyle better, a slim styled sideboard is a great way to style the back view of your sofa....See Morewish69
