Could anyone who has a bath behind their shower screen (as per Pic) please tell me the measurement from screen to wall - wondering what the minimum I can get away with is?!
I would work with the width of your chosen bath and allow a min 800 for the shower, better at 900 with less water in /on bath
id like to know that aswell, you can obviously save some space compared to normal

thanks just trying to figure out dimensions room is 2530mm, vanity is 900mm, bath 750mm wide.....
Between bath edge and shower 900mm as a minimum,............. I prefer niches for shower and bath stuff however, designers tend to go for a dwarf wall across the top of the bath, from the external wall to the shower screen..................shower screen should be a minimum of 1200........ ..The location of the Shower waste grate must be considered in planning
This diagram shows how things will fit, without the depth of the bathroom which I have as 1800. My width is 2525 as my program wants to lock to 25 or 50, so you need to add 5
Mine is 87 /bath and 97/shower.
yeah ur dimensions are similar to mine but ive got a free standing bath so need 3-4cm from wall to bath to be able to get a mop arouns it. 1cm either side of my shaving cabinet to open the doors and 1cm for the width of the screen the shower area ends up being 810-820cm which seems on the small side, if i go a 750mm vanity it is a safe option as i can get a 900mm shower and some space between each item. Was urs that exact layout im wondering if anyone has had a 820-830mm shower in a wet room and noticed it was small
Should mention, my bath is built in a hob. A cousin ripped out her free standing bath as water was trapped behind and never dried. The previous advice to leave room for a mop is good but an easier option is to build the bath in.
My personal preference is Shower,, Vanity..Toilet
I have 780mm from glass to bath edge. I was worried it might be too small but it actual feels huge because the 780 width is only at you knee height not the whole wall. I'd do it again and love the layout. good luck.
Thanks Lisa - I was hoping to get away with less than 900 given it is 'feet room'
I would have the bath fixed to the three walls and free on the shower side so there was no areas to catch water from the shower . No mop is then needed .
@Lisa Blackwood how far is it from the wall to the edge of the shower screen? Is it like 1600? And how wide is the shower screen? We'd love this layout for our bathroom when we eventually do it but we're only working with a room that's 2400 x 1980.
