Oh I have not even touched the surface of fabrics that are available and beautiful. But, best to qualify further if you are recovering or buying new chairs before we get too excited or caught up in the beauty of the products. I love fabrics and the chemistry and technology that goes into modern day fabrics would astound most people. I'm not even talking about the residential fabrics like the Robert Allen collection I showed you. I'm talking about the fabrics for the hospitality and medical care industry. Now if you are interested in MODERN look fabrics I would send you to Maharam to look at their 20th Century Modern collection. Some of those are the real deal by Eames and Girard. Anyway, when you get further along in your plans then I can give better input.

Absolutely no problem changing up the carpet. Things to watch for......make the transition in a doorway, an opening or along a visual break in the rooms (like the corners of the walls). I would stay in the same colour range, but just go to the other end of the spectrum rather than change the colour completely.....like light grey going to dark grey, not light grey going to navy blue. You want the separation but an easy transition on the eyes.

Yes, the brown wall is actually deep purple (aubergine). The carpet is more dark grey than brown. It is not a commercial place, but a large family home, and all the extra chairs are around because we were about to have 22 in for dinner, so the table was fully extended to it's 6metres! (The lounge is totally separate to this room, this is family space, so has the old sofas for sacking out on) But I really appreciate all suggestions and comments as it would be good to pull it together, even when entertaining so many. Total reno of bathroom and ensuite. Need to keep in cream tones not grey as bathroom door needs to stay cream as per all other doors in house and interior colours. Sampled grey tone tiles and they clashed. New vanity below, light oak, pic of old ensuite, and ideas. Want to keep wall and floor at 600x600mm. Selling house so wide appeal needed. Darker floor and white walls ( by either dark tiles or a darker timber effect floor as pics) OR white floor and walls (do they need dark grout as per example below)? Will 600x600mm work for both floor and walls. Will 2x 600mm work up walls, dont want to go 3 high. Doing this to keep costs down. Painting everything else white and installing white shutters. Showers to remain as is, glass with aluminum frame.
