Try a timber look tile

Are you sure you need a special non combustible material? I have a combustion wood heater with wooden mantle and no heat transfers to the space above the mantle. I’ve often felt the area as I was going to hang the TV there originally but it didn’t work out for the room.

I'm putting in a Regency Montrose and they stipulate in their recommendations not to put a TV above and a timber mantle. You can buy faux timber non combustible shelves in the USA but wondered if there was a supplier here!

Hi - unfortunately not but we decided to go ahead and put a piece of hardwood about 60cm above the heater. It barely gets warm!
