Terrace White or Lexicon on interior walls

Hi. Has anybody used Dulux Terrace White inside? We're building a coastal style home but find white on white on white a little too boring and harsh. We want a soft, neutral, relaxing pallete. We will have plenty of natural north-facing light coming in to the master bedroom and kitchen/living/dining area, which has a wall of glass, high ceilings and clerestory windows. There will be warm tones in this room through timber and tan leather. There are burnished concrete floors throughout. I'm tossing up between Dulux Lexicon or Terrace White which has a little more colour. The exterior will be Terrace White. Any thoughts?

Have a look at Instagram at Thenexthousethatambuilt also featured in Home Beautiful. They used Terrace White throughout.

Terrace White, the Lexicon can look quite cool throwing a bluish tinge which doesn’t sound like what you are looking for.

Interesting! It's hard to see that just from the colour samples - even large ones - but you're right a bluish tinge is definitely not what I'm going for. Terrace White it is!

Get a test pot and start painting - Different lights will make paint reflect different tones. Lexicon white is a blue base and appears a cool tone. I tend for my clients to steer them towards the Dulux New Zeland colour range - Mount Aspiring Quarter, or Cardrona. Better still the Resense range. Their colours are beautiful, true to tone, I specify all the time... Natasha Walker Interiors
