Gas heating for the house in Australia

Does anybody know if it is possible to install a gas heating for the detached house in Australia? I only managed to find this sample online to illustrate what I want to install. We don't have snow, still in winters it gets rather chilly in the mornings, and my grandmother is old and she freezes all the time.

another option for cold grannies is to consider heating that can be installed like an electric blanket under carpet, tiles, timber floor or rugs..we also have electric mats under a desk for long session on the computer and down the hallways to keep warm for late night visits to the bathroom and we've been very happy with our Colbuster mats

All things possible. In most places piped gas is available. Some houses outside town may be on bottled lpg which makes gas heating expensive.

You can put the TV over the fireplace, not the best situation but the way the room lays out it is the only logical place to put it. If you could you should add one additional layer on your mantel that could extend it out another 4" to deflect the radiant coming from the fireplace. I would also mount it on a slimline mounting bracket and have the bottom of the TV no further than 4" above the mantle. Ideally you want the TV to be in as straight a line as possible with your eyes. You don't want to look up too high at the TV, it's like being at a sports bar. Also if you can snake up the power and the HDMI from the cable there is a box they make that has both in one so it makes for a very clean installation.

I would suggest you take out the cabinet that is to the right of the stove and use it elsewhere in the house -- perhaps in the bathroom or dining room with a hutch above it. Then, I would suggest you have someone install a lazy susan cabinet in the corner between the sink counter and the stove, meaning you would move the stove down a bit and have a small cabinet/counter top to the right of the stove. I would suggest you have the cabinets refinished in white and then paint the walls a pastel you like. If you would prefer white walls, then add white-painted crown molding and paint the ceiling a light neutral blue, such as Sherwin Williams Niagara Falls Blue. Then, I would suggest you choose a favorite accent color and use this sparingly in accessories like towels, pot holders, small vases or floral arrangements, and a valence above the triple windows. For a genuine 1940s look, you might have white ceramic square tiles with a rectangular red border installed as a back splash behind and above the stove. If you are replacing counter tops, I would suggest a light color such as white with a beige or light grey vein or striation for some sort of pattern. You might be able to find the same color and design in floor tile OR opt for a wood floor as another poster suggested.

A very simple layout keeping the floor space within the kitchen, the WIP takes up a lot of space with not much gain, The broom cupboard could be moved to the Laundry/entrance, narrow. If the wall has been bumped out to the eaves on the deck side giving an extra 300 depth to the kitchen you could make the island 2700 x 1200 and all drawers. The wall of narrow pantry will hold all pantry needs and more, no deep cupboards to dig into. cheers

Why do you want gas? A reverse cycle a/c that can he and cool and be on a timer could be a great option and cheaper to run. Does she want the open fire element? There are heaps available, not sure why you can’t find them

Go onto the “Rinnai” brand of gas heaters. There are numerous types available.

The reason why I asked whether you were in Spain or Australia is because if in Australia you could go to the Rinnai show rooms and look at there large range of gas heaters.
