What should I combine my feature tiles with?

I am tiling a small 2.36 bathroom.
I already decided on the feature tiles, they are handmade cement tiles with print of soft yellow palm on blueish-white.
My initial thought was to match them to plain (satin) white tiles.
And I want them to be 300x600 (Not 300x300 or 200x200)
I think white is a safe option, and it should help not making the room smaller.
But is it too safe and boring?
Or is it just the right combination?
I do not want to highlight or bring our the blue tinge on the tiles.
The feature tiles will go on
half the wall where the basin is
the back wall of the shower and possible the shower floor
The white tiles will go on
The floor where toilet is and they join basin wall (which will have the feature tiles)
Two opposite walls of the shower.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
