Shower door blocks entry

Shower screendoor when fully open blocks the doorway into bathroom.Cavity slider.Is this illegal?Don't know how to attach pics sorry

Thanks for your reply. Not sure which wall you are referring to? We can't block the bedroom that is next to the front door and we don't want people walking directly into the lounge. We also want the deck to be private. Do you mean to have the gate and doorbell outside in the open?

Close the shower door when finished shower. Why would you leave it open?

Quite typical for shower screen to swing into door swing area. Lock on bathroom door helps. But yes you can put in slider. I find sliders harder to lick if that is important to you

You may not have space for a slider, perhaps an external Barn Door
