Engineered stone joins

Hey guys,
recently have had engineered stone tops installed in kitchen.
the joins are very obvious please see attached photos.
im a little disappointed, would have made design changes had i known they were going to be so prominent.
in-laws had stone tops installed over decade ago, where joins were polished, you can barely see their joins.
hoping to get some advise, can more be done to hide joins?

Comments (0)I am about to finally order our kitchen and wonder what the opinion is on 20 mm benchtop (engineered stone) or 30 mm. We are having Heritage Ezi Venice extrusion handles and I am a bit worried that maybe they will overpower the 20 mm benchtop? Comments (2)I can understand your concerns about the gap between the end of the island and the wall. Although the new option is more practical, it's important to have a design that is visually pleasing as well. Have you considered centring the island to the back cabinetry?
