What are the measurements of the bathroom?

Dimensions, door and window sizes, plus current floorplan.

Dimensions are there if zoom in 2870 x 2070. 590 window on long wall and 710 door opening

Scaling i get the following dims

I like opt 3 best. Add towel rack above bath will balance out window, which is not centred in opt 2 anyway reduce vanity to 1200

Would still like current floorplan before spending time on layout, 2870 x 2070, door 750 window 590

If you're ok going as far with cutting the slab to reposition fittings etc then worthwhile considering door position as also flexible as a door hard into a corner like you have limits your configuration options & potential - if this was moved central to the room the you'd be able to have a longer and potentially double vanity (using layout 3. Also consider vanity design & depth, either using a narrow ledge + wall basin design or a semi recessed basin/vanity depth (350mm). You could also consider the toilet spun around on the far wall with a different/more narrow vanity/basin setup which will achieve a more expansive feel to the room - but this may be too tight to achieve practical access to the shower

I'd also have a think about whether having a bath is really necessary in an ensuite and possibly having a larger/double shower which (assuming??) is going to be used most frequently, is a better way to priortise as a small shower like this makes it feel tighter than it needs to be and the bath is the culprit - OR if it is really wanted then consider a smaller scale bath (like a 1450mm length) and get a larger shower in which will give you better access into it near the toilet end

Kate, you got the dimensions right - thank you. And thank you for the vote on Option 3 as well as the tip on the towell rail.

Paul, thank you for the suggestions. Spinning the pan toilet around also puts it on a double brick wall which would allow installation of an in wall cistern. I think you may be right though that the bath may just be too hard to fit. We'll also have a think about the door location, it's possible to move it about 400 off the wall before it interferes with a robe on the other side.

@siriuskey the dimensions are on the plans if you zoom in and were correctly confirmed by Kate.

You have an 1800 bath and 900 shower. You could go a back to corner bath 1400, 1500 or 1700 long. Who will use bath and how often? Tall family long bath but if for kids I’d do a 1200x900 shower and smaller bath.

Thanks Kate, yes, I'm leaning towards the smaller bath. I'm tall but my partner isn't and it's really for her not me. I thought it would be nice for her to have a bath in our en suite as it's then more of a sanctuary for her away from the kids end of the house.

Lovely thought but I think you trying to squeeze too many things into a small space, it won't ever feel special. Better to have a generous vanity and shower/bath, What about a resort style bath with a shower

Here's the latest options based on advice thus far...

@siriuskey I thought about a step in shower / bath but having lived with one when I was younger I don't want to go back as it is a pretty big inconvenience / safety impact for the 9/10 times you just want to have a shower. Agree we may be trying to fit too much in and will consider that carefully.

The toilet is too tight, needs to go on vanity wall, and always think where to hang towels, I suggested the more glam tiled bath if you must have both as this is non slip and you can sit on the edge, even just a tall white shower curtain in stead of the glass panel, think Japanese bathroom, good luck

For me opt 5 with a 1200 single basin vanity. This will give more room at door and toilet. I only need a single basin as am never in bathroom at same time as husband. For me counter space is more important to put hair dryer down etc.

As Kate mentioned it is a one person bathroom with a separate bath and shower, how deep is your toilet and 1200 shower what door size, still better to swing the toilet for space and a bit more privacy. What about a skylight or does the window give enough light.

There's nothing worse than entering straight into the side of a vanity. It immediately makes a space feel cluttered/squeezed. A small scaled vanity also makes a room look small (unless it's traditional and you can possibly get away with it). Even if you don't need double basins the extra benchtop is never a negative. Whichever way you do a full depth vanity plus a shower on opposite sides will only give you 600mm between which is too tight. a semi recessed is really your only option unless you have a shorter/single vanity with the shower next to it so you are not squeezed when at the basin. The Japanese soaker bath/shower idea is nice, however you do have to step over the hob which personally not a fan of It also works the best at the end of a room like in the image above.

The other option, if you don't want to move the door, assuming window sill is above bench height & are willing to give up the bath, which would feel less cluttered is this:

The shower could be comfortably 1500mm

In bathrooms, every 100mm and the balance/clearances to/bewteen fittings makes a big difference
