It's engineered wood used in this basement as the homeoner wanted the same flooring as on the first level. LVP is good and highly used today as it water resistant, adjusts with the concrete floor and scratch resistant. Use a LVP product that has good thickness and backing for better wear and tear. Do not go with the thin ones. Hope this helps
