We embarked on an exciting journey to transform this 1920s gem, one of the original homes in Te Atatu Peninsula. The house held immense potential, but it required a complete overhaul to showcase its true charm.
The initial concept drawings, which we carefully crafted, laid the foundation for this remarkable transformation. From there, we moved on to the meticulous working drawings and commenced with the construction phase.

Throughout the house, polished floorboards exuded timeless beauty, but the kitchen area suffered from badly damaged flooring that had been concealed under vinyl since the 1970s when other renovations were completed. Our mission was clear: rejuvenate the space while preserving its authentic character.

One of our primary objectives was to breathe life back into the original features, such as the coffered ceiling in the lounge. To achieve this, we tackled the heavy wood elements that overshadowed the home's inherent charm. The high stud, once a source of darkness, was now an opportunity to create an airy and inviting atmosphere.
