You can go to a carpet retailer, and get the exact size runner you want. They will cut and edge your chosen coloured carpet.

Hi Julie. I looked into Rug Addiction but I can't afford $700-$800 for a runner unfortunately. Dreamer - went to two carpet shops. Very limited carpets that even got closed to what I think I need i.e. like the onesin pics above.

The hall runner from rug addiction is $69 per mt. Am I correct in reading that you need 6 mts.

It's not available in any other width than 80cm. They're going to get back to me but I think there'll be an additional cost if they do a narrower size so yes it'll end up near $600

I thought that was your front door. You can always go to a carpet store and they can edge a piece of carpet etc to your size. Years ago I made my own grass sea large rugs 3 x 4 hand stitching a Wide black Herringbone tape over the edges, I made two, one for the living and the other under the dining table. Very cost effective and looked great.

@siriuskey, that is what I mentioned in my previous post. Go to a carpet shop and get them to cut to size and edge. Sophia Curtis, I’m sorry those two shops didn’t have your preferred colour choice. Keep looking when you have the time. It’s a cheaper option than buying a pre made carpet runner. You may have to have a plain colour or a subtle pattern that is not striped. From memory a carpet roll is 4 metres wide. If you are happy to have four metres only, it will be well worth finding a carpet you like. But you can also get the carpet place to join and edge. 60cm x 6 metres. Hope you find something.

I went to special Grass Sea carpet place in Sydney, try googling if you want . some auction houses sell carpet off cuts end rolls but then you would need to find someone to edge it, an upholsterer might help. Perhaps you could consider 2 x 2m x 60, a gap between might visually shorten the length of the hallway. ie stepped in from the end bedroom and then again at the other end.

They look great, love the kilim rug, a finishing look to go with your rug would be some minimal artwork, but great finds , now decisions , can’t wait to see what you choose.
