Hi

We are looking at completing some internal reservations on our 1970’s Ian J smith designed home. We have found the original plans and there has already been some major updates over the homes history (prior to us moving in) so we won’t be able to keep the original look of the home as to much has already occurred to it. I would love to see any before and after ideas that people have done on floor layouts on similar designed homes to help with inspiration.

Thanks you.

Current plans of your home, with dimensions, and photos would help with renovation suggestions.

The 70's had bold sunny colours , and browns , aand exposed brick , and stained timber , and aluminium , and arches , and indoor planters -- so photos would be essential . You might be able to emphasis some of those features , re-introduce some , give nods in that direction . But without photos ( more important than an original and 'now' floorplan IMO ) its just guessing .

Just googling , there is still an Ian J Smith listed as an architect at Cox Architects in Canberra -- no idea if it's him or not .
