ceiling fan advice
I’m looking at installing ceiling fan in living room but not sure what colour and style to get. I’m thinking white ceiling fan to recede and not clash with anything. My husband on the other hand, is if the opioniin white ceiling fans look cheap.
Advice welcomed please.

Comments (2)Hi Rochelle, because you've gone with all natural tones, any strong colour just stands out too much and never looks quite right. Ditch the red. I think your idea of plants is a good one. Green works in with that natural pallette well. Get a lush green pot plant for your coffee table and maybe a bigger plant in a high pot that can stand on the ground. Buy a good sized, beautiful print of natural landscape and hang it on the best wall (instead of what you have). Get some funky cushions that work with the print and buy one of those luxurious fake fur throws in a colour similar to your mat. This will add more softness and texture to the room. Comments (0)Hi guys. Any advice GREATLY appreciated.I have a 2 storey 1970s townhouse. It's one of two, attached by a concrete block wall. It had a roof replaced (cathedral ceiling) and since then cracks (gaps?) have appeared between the ceiling and wall seam. Just here and there, not everywhere. Also a gap between the concrete block and wooden trim of the drywall down the length of the house in one corner. This has led me to notice that the upper floor/lower ceiling in that corner isn't straight! You can see in the photos that the cinder block is higher in the corner! All the window frames, doors and the rest of the walls/ floor in the two rooms are level. I have looked under the house at the foundation and can't see anything scary. Could the house have been built like this? Or has something occurred? I can't see any cracks in the cinder block wall. Comments (0)I'm thinking of using hydrapanel in the bathroom but how do you get jointers to line up on an angled ceiling, When I say that I mean at the ends of the sheet where the ceiling meets the wall (where the fan is as its not a right angle. It's doing my head in, I can't get hold of anyone from the company and can't start till I figure it out. Thanks in advance for any help....See Morebigreader

3 months agoI agree white would recede. But with your beautiful home and the wonderful textured decor. I think your room can handle a timber fan. You have many timber features that are permanent and a timber fan will complement these existing elements.
