Thank you! Here's a close up of the paint color. I'd say a medium green. I'm not a big fan of it but can't change it.

I'm also looking for ideas of how to use the space efficiently. I'd love to put an over-the-toilet storage piece in, but because the mirror stretches over the toilet, I'm not sure I could pull that off. Any ideas for what storage I could add in that area? Maybe a shelf over the toilet but under the mirror??

Just saw your interest in how to make this bathroom work. Got an idea for you!!

If you can go with a custom shower curtain, I would go with a soft tan that matches the tile work and border all four sides with a grosgrain ribbon in the wall color. Line the shower curtain with a water repellent lining and make it long enough to cover the shower head so up on the wall a bit. But, in the middle of the shower curtain, monogram your initials
in the green color also. Would be quite striking and everybody would want one.

Have a thick shaggy rug in the same tan family on the floor near the tub to step out onto when leaving the shower.
Hang lush tan towels, hand towels and wash cloths also in the same tan to soften and quieten down the green and red together. We are ignoring the base of the sink.
And, if you want to really go a little farther, the grosgrain ribbon that runs around four sides of the shower curtain, add that to the bottom of a couple of hand towels (2) that you would lay on the top of the granite counter top.

Go to Pier 1 and buy some bamboo scented candles (they are in the green) or the scented sticks in an attractive stand. Boom---you are done!!!

i think you could probably do the over the toilet storage, but it would depend on if you do a cabinet style or an industrial style.

i would say that either would work, really. with the industrial one, you'd definitely want to use decorative storage boxes and bottles, whereas in the cabinet one, you wouldn't need to worry about that all that much.

Did you ever put some shelving up. I swear we have the exact same bathroom. except mine is all white. But our layout is the same, even the mirror. I have that huge mirror and no shelving or storage. I was thinking of getting the shelving that goes over the toilet, but I'm concerned how it would look with the mirror.
