This 25-year-old builder grade bathroom was due for a major upgrade in both function and design. The jetted tub was a useless space hog since it did not work and leaked. The size of the shower had been dictated by the preformed shower pan and not the desire of the homeowner. All materials and finishes were outdated. The Bel Air Construction team designed a stunning transformation for this large master bath that includes improved use of the space, improved functionality, and a relaxing color scheme.

Complete transformation of an old, builder's grade poorly designed bathroom into an amazingly, sumptuous and inviting master bathroom. The homeowners wanted luxury, storage, elegance, roominess and a bright space to replace the dated bathroom. They love their new bathroom and so do we!

Bronze Green family bathroom with dark rusty red slipper bath, marble herringbone tiles, cast iron fireplace, oak vanity sink, walk-in shower and bronze green tiles, vintage lighting and a lot of art and antiques objects!

Two phases completed in 2020 & 2021 included kitchen and primary bath remodels. Bright, light, fresh and simple describe these beautiful spaces fit just for our clients. The primary bath was a fun project to complete. A few must haves for this space were a place to incorporate the Peloton, more functional storage and a welcoming showering/bathing area. The space was primarily left in the same configuration, but we were able to make it much more welcoming and efficient. The walk in shower has a small bench for storing large bottles and works as a perch for shaving legs. The entrance is doorless and allows for a nice open experience + the pebbled shower floor. The freestanding tub took the place of a huge built in tub deck creating a prefect space for Peleton next to the vanity. The vanity was freshened up with equal spacing for the dual sinks, a custom corner cabinet to house supplies and a charging station for sonicares and shaver. Lastly, the corner by the closet door was underutilized and we placed a storage chest w/ quartz countertop there. The overall space included freshening up the paint/millwork in the primary bedroom. Just because you have a small space, doesn't mean you can't have the bathroom of your dreams. With this small foot print we were able to fit in two shower heads, two shower benches and hidden storage solutions!

A beautifully remodeled primary bathroom ensuite inspired by the homeowner’s European travels. This spacious bathroom was dated and had a cold cave like shower. The homeowner desired a beautiful space with a European feel, like the ones she discovered on her travels to Europe. She also wanted a privacy door separating the bathroom from her bedroom. The designer opened up the closed off shower by removing the soffit and dark cabinet next to the shower to add glass and let light in. Now the entire room is bright and airy with marble look porcelain tile throughout. The archway was added to frame in the under-mount tub. The double vanity in a soft gray paint and topped with Corian Quartz compliments the marble tile. The new chandelier along with the chrome fixtures add just the right amount of luxury to the room. Now when you come in from the bedroom you are enticed to come in and stay a while in this beautiful space.

We undertook a comprehensive bathroom remodel to improve the functionality and aesthetics of the space. To create a more open and spacious layout, we expanded the room by 2 feet, shifted the door, and reconfigured the entire layout. We utilized a variety of high-quality materials to create a simple but timeless finish palette, including a custom 96” warm wood-tone custom-made vanity by Draftwood Design, Silestone Cincel Gray quartz countertops, Hexagon Dolomite Bianco floor tiles, and Natural Dolomite Bianco wall tiles.

An original 1930’s English Tudor with only 2 bedrooms and 1 bath spanning about 1730 sq.ft. was purchased by a family with 2 amazing young kids, we saw the potential of this property to become a wonderful nest for the family to grow. The plan was to reach a 2550 sq. ft. home with 4 bedroom and 4 baths spanning over 2 stories. With continuation of the exiting architectural style of the existing home. A large 1000sq. ft. addition was constructed at the back portion of the house to include the expended master bedroom and a second-floor guest suite with a large observation balcony overlooking the mountains of Angeles Forest. An L shape staircase leading to the upstairs creates a moment of modern art with an all white walls and ceilings of this vaulted space act as a picture frame for a tall window facing the northern mountains almost as a live landscape painting that changes throughout the different times of day. Tall high sloped roof created an amazing, vaulted space in the guest suite with 4 uniquely designed windows extruding out with separate gable roof above. The downstairs bedroom boasts 9’ ceilings, extremely tall windows to enjoy the greenery of the backyard, vertical wood paneling on the walls add a warmth that is not seen very often in today’s new build. The master bathroom has a showcase 42sq. walk-in shower with its own private south facing window to illuminate the space with natural morning light. A larger format wood siding was using for the vanity backsplash wall and a private water closet for privacy. In the interior reconfiguration and remodel portion of the project the area serving as a family room was transformed to an additional bedroom with a private bath, a laundry room and hallway. The old bathroom was divided with a wall and a pocket door into a powder room the leads to a tub room. The biggest change was the kitchen area, as befitting to the 1930’s the dining room, kitchen, utility room and laundry room were all compartmentalized and enclosed. We eliminated all these partitions and walls to create a large open kitchen area that is completely open to the vaulted dining room. This way the natural light the washes the kitchen in the morning and the rays of sun that hit the dining room in the afternoon can be shared by the two areas. The opening to the living room remained only at 8’ to keep a division of space.

New Modern Lake House: Located on beautiful Glen Lake, this home was designed especially for its environment with large windows maximizing the view toward the lake. The lower awning windows allow lake breezes in, while clerestory windows and skylights bring light in from the south. A back porch and screened porch with a grill and commercial hood provide multiple opportunities to enjoy the setting. Michigan stone forms a band around the base with blue stone paving on each porch. Every room echoes the lake setting with shades of blue and green and contemporary wood veneer cabinetry.

A shower room with sink and vanity, and access from the hall, was notched out of the oversized primary bathroom. The blue 3" x 6" tile satisfied the homeowners' blue wish list item. The contrast of the blue tile and the terra cotta shower floor plus the stained crown molding has a Napa Valley vibe. The shower room is complete with a hinged glass door, a shower seat, shelves, and a handheld shower head.

We developed a design utilizing organic materials to deliver a Master Bathroom that fulfilled the homeowners wishes of capturing the essence of a memorable vacation retreat. The subtle shine of the polished tile contrasts beautifully with the rich color of the Cherrywood cabinets and the salvaged Teak* wood slats; these elements when intermingled with the bold matte black finishes bring about the perfect balance, creating an inviting retreat after a long day. *Teak slats: sourced from vintage buildings in Southeast Asia
