The original bath was just horrible. It now has new cabinetry, vanity, enclosed shower, improved lighting, improved storage, laundry chute. It was gutted and re-built with a smaller window and larger shower after the tub surround was removed

This remodeled San Diego bathroom features a large, circular stand-alone bathtub accented with glass mosaic tile. A large, alcove shower features stone, marble and glass tile as well as a built-in shower alcove. A his and hers vanity features frame-less mirrors. My client wanted a deep wide tub to relax in. we surrounded it with a white tile with a subtle wave pattern and set it off with glass and metal tiles. Trudy Anderson

Filtered daylight and reflections provide a connection to the intense sunlight of the beach outside. As in many beach communities this south wall of windows is only six feet from the neighboring house. Reeded privacy glass screens the short view.
