Innovative Design BuildOur clients wished for a larger main bathroom with more light and storage. We expanded the footprint and used light colored marble tile, countertops and paint colors to give the room a brighter feel and added a cherry wood vanity to warm up the space. The matt black finish of the glass shower panels and the mirrors allows for top billing in this design and gives it a more modern feel.
Fireclay TileStep inside Ericka Hart’s favorite room. The primary bathroom in Ericka’s renovated Victorian home was transformed into an elegant haven thanks to 2” Hexagon Tile in Chateau and Basalt across the floor, 3x3 Ceramic Tile in Peabody surrounding the shower and tub, and a wainscot of 3x6 Chateau bracketed by Peabody 4x4 and Polias Trim.

Hem CollectiveThis was a reconfiguration of a small bathroom. We added a skylight above the shower to bring in more natural light and used a rich, green tile to ring in some color. The resulting space is a luxurious experience in a small package.
Fanny DebezLa salle de bain est d’une élégance lumineuse avec une vasque en marbre suspendue et un meuble en bois strié. Le contraste entre le marbre et le bois strié crée une atmosphère raffinée et chaleureuse. Une baignoire îlot trône offre un point focal attrayant.
Pour harmoniser l'ensemble, la robinetterie dorée italienne choisie avec soin, arbore également des motifs striés où les accents dorés ajoutent une touche de sophistication à l'ensemble.
Des miroirs dorés sont stratégiquement placés, reflétant la lumière naturelle et accentuant la sensation d'espace. Ils ajoutent une touche de glamour supplémentaire tout en apportant une fonctionnalité pratique.

AY-YA Design HausThe Sheridan is that special project that sparked the beginning of AYYA. Meeting with the home owners and having the opportunity to design those intimate spaces of their charming home in Uptown Chicago was a pleasure and privilege.
The focus of this design story is respecting the architecture and the history of the building while creating a contemporary design that relates to their modern life.
The spaces were completely transformed from what they were to become at their best potential.
The Primary Bathroom was a nod to tradition with the black and white subway tiles, a custom walnut vanity, and mosaic floors. While the Guest Bathroom took a more modern approach, bringing more vertical texture and bold colors to create a statement that connects this room with the rest of the house.
Boyce Design + BuildModern blue and gold guest bathroom features a 24” navy blue vanity with white marble countertop, rectangular undermount sink and brushed bronze sink faucet. A frameless glass shower enclosure is finished with a light gray penny porcelain mosaic floor tile & white porcelain tile shower walls.
Metropolis Drafting and Construction IncAnother update project we did in the same Townhome community in Culver city. This time more towards Modern Farmhouse / Transitional design.
Kitchen cabinets were completely refinished with new hardware installed. The black island is a great center piece to the white / gold / brown color scheme.
The Master bathroom was transformed from a plain contractor's bathroom to a true modern mid-century jewel of the house. The black floor and tub wall tiles are a fantastic way to accent the white tub and freestanding wooden vanity.
Notice how the plumbing fixtures are almost hidden with the matte black finish on the black tile background.
The shower was done in a more modern tile layout with aligned straight lines.
The hallway Guest bathroom was partially updated with new fixtures, vanity, toilet, shower door and floor tile.
that's what happens when older style white subway tile came back into fashion. They fit right in with the other updates.
DMB Interior Design-BuildThe Master Suite of the Elmwood project was formulated from scratch in the spacious addition of a branching household. Our clients wanted to keep the neighborhood they loved while creating space for a growing family. DMB Design came into the project at the blueprint phase, offering our intentional consideration to the layout of the space before its physical creation. This offered us an opportunity to present our idealized iteration of a self-contained sanctuary space. We created a spa-inspired atmosphere, starting with the floating tub that captured our hearts from the very beginning. You'll find plenty of space to hang your robe in the 15-foot walk in closet complete with floor-to-ceiling custom built-ins. The suite maintains an aura of romance, creating a sense of delicacy without an ounce of fussiness.
