This custom vanity is the perfect place for Him to unwind after a long day. A wood surround and recessed panel below highlight the vanity drawers, which are separated by a stainless reveal across each set. With sleek porcelain tile walls and a copper penny round floor, we have found a soothing balance between strong and sleek. A custom matching shelf provides detail in the water closet, while the frosted panel and tile wall create separation in the larger space.

This large Scripps Ranch master bathroom remodel is luxurious and functional, incorporating soothing neutral tones and plenty of customized details . The spacious double vanity also features a seating area, ideal for capturing the natural light as you go through your morning routine. The large walk-in shower features dual showerheads and discreet shampoo nook cleverly situated behind the pony wall to keep clutter hidden. In its original state, this bathroom had a large soaking tub that hadn’t been used in years and since they had the space, the client was eager to transform it into a large walk-in shower which better suited their lifestyle. A beautiful mosaic tile was selected for the accent walls and lends dimension to the space while perfectly marrying the other material selections. This bathroom achieved the homeowner’s dream of having a spa-like oasis in their home.

Finishes in the 3/4th bath include hexagonal tile flooring in tumbled Carrara by TileBar and classic arctic white subway tile with contrasting grout in silver shadow by Architectural Ceramics. The vanity countertop is by Caeserstone in Noble Grey with brass pull knobs by Buster+Punch. A crowd favorite in this bathroom are the brass fixtures from Waterworks, specifically the wall-mounted sink faucet with cross handles from the Henry collection. And contemporary touches like exposed incandescent lighting by Buster+Punch and a thin-frame circular mirror from CB2 are just the right touch of modern.

Ivory onyx slab and mosaic bathroom

In the master bath, we went from four doors to two by removing the wall between the vanity and the shower area and the linen closet. Before, the master bath would remind you of a hotel with a self-contained water closet area. In the master bedroom we created a BIG walk-in closet with linen storage shelves there. The bathroom is larger and functions better. There is glass between the shower and vanity on a half wall. The flooring in the master bath has a Monaco polished porcelain tile (Savannah Hexagon 10" x 8") pattern that accents the shower's wavy subway tile in a midrange blue (Seaside Polished Blue 4" x 16" ceramic tile). A taupe countertop provides a slight Moroccan flair!
