A simple but bold moment in this secondary bathroom designed by Kennedy Cole Interior Design.

This master bathroom remodel was a lot of fun. We wanted to switch things up by adding an open shelving divider between the sink and shower. This allows for additional storage in this small space. Storage is key when it comes to a couple using a bathroom space. We flanked a bank of drawers on either side of the floating vanity and doubled up storage by adding a higher end medicine cabinet with ample storage, lighting and plug outlets.

We were engaged to create luxurious and elegant bathrooms and powder rooms for this stunning apartment at Birchgrove. We used calacatta satin large format porcelain tiles on the floor and walls exuding elegance. Stunning oval recessed shaving cabinets and dark custom vanities provided all the storage our clients requested. Recessed towels, niches, stone baths, brushed nickel tapware, sensor lighting and heated floors emanated opulent luxury. Our client's were delighted with all their bathrooms.

When re-working a space, it pays to consider your priorities early on. We discussed the pros and cons of tearing out the bathroom and starting fresh vs. giving it a facelift. In the end, we decided that the buget was better spent on new solid oak herringbone flooring and new doors throughout. To give the space a more modern look, we opted to re-do the sink area with custom corian shelving and replaced all faucets for matte black ones. A lick of fresh, water-resistant paint, new lighting and some decorative elements (like the waffle towels seen left) gave the space a new lease of life.

In the kids’ bathroom, recessed shelving provides extra storage and is inlaid with a geometric white marble mosaic for a subtle hint of visual texture.

Hall bath for overnight guest to use. Bold black and white design, with free standing vanity and graphic black and white tile floors.

The main bath has a sleek, clean feel with mostly white tile and fixtures and contrasting green shower tile.

La second salle de bain a été conçue pour la petite Olivia, nous avons donc voulu créer un espace coloré avec un joli camaïeu de rose. L'espace a été rythmé avec des zelliges posés en chevron.
