Our Armadale residence was a converted warehouse style home for a young adventurous family with a love of colour, travel, fashion and fun. With a brief of “artsy”, “cosmopolitan” and “colourful”, we created a bright modern home as the backdrop for our Client’s unique style and personality to shine. At home, spa-like luxury in Boulder, CO Seeking an at-home spa-like experience, our clients sought out Melton Design Build to design a master bathroom and a guest bathroom to reflect their modern and eastern design taste. The primary includes a gorgeous porcelain soaking tub for an extraordinarily relaxing experience. With big windows, there is plenty of natural sunlight, making the room feel spacious and bright. The wood detail space divider provides a sleek element that is both functional and beautiful. The shower in this primary suite is elegant, designed with sleek, natural shower tile and a rain shower head. The modern dual bathroom vanity includes two vessel sinks and LED framed mirrors (that change hues with the touch of a button for different lighting environments) for an upscale bathroom experience. The overhead vanity light fixtures add a modern touch to this sophisticated primary suite.

Complete bathroom remodel - The bathroom was completely gutted to studs. A curb-less stall shower was added with a glass panel instead of a shower door. This creates a barrier free space maintaining the light and airy feel of the complete interior remodel. The fireclay tile is recessed into the wall allowing for a clean finish without the need for bull nose tile. The light finishes are grounded with a wood vanity and then all tied together with oil rubbed bronze faucets.

In an ever-evolving homestead on the Connecticut River, this bath serves two guest bedrooms as well as the Master. In renovating the original 1983 bathspace and its unusual 6ft by 24ft footprint, our design divides the room's functional components along its length. A deep soaking tub in a Sepele wood niche anchors the primary space. Opposing entries from Master and guest sides access a neutral center area with a sepele cabinet for linen and toiletries. Fluted glass in a black steel frame creates discretion while admitting daylight from a South window in the 6ft by 8ft river-side shower room.

Adjacent to the home gym, this spacious bathroom has cubbies for workout clothes and equipment, as well as toilet, shower and built-in vanity. Two walls feature the shiplap and the other, shares the subway tile from the shower.

We were asked to re-design a contemporary looking bathroom that was stylish and easy to clean. We have taken care of every detail of this project from the ordering of the materials to the delivery of the project.

A Relaxed Coastal Bathroom showcasing a sage green subway tiled feature wall combined with a white ripple wall tile and a light terrazzo floor tile. This family-friendly bathroom uses brushed copper tapware from ABI Interiors throughout and features a rattan wall hung vanity with a stone top and an above counter vessel basin. An arch mirror and niche beside the vanity wall complements this user-friendly bathroom. A walk-in shower with inbuilt shower niche, an overhead shower and a wall handheld shower makes this space usable for everyone. A freestanding bathtub always gives a luxury look to any bathroom and completes this coastal relaxed family bathroom.

A lovely Tudor home had an addition done in the 1990's that was sorely in need of an update. We enlarged the shower, used marble tiles for the shower walls and floor. A bench for ease of use. Fixtures were by Brizo. Counters were made of quartz. But the biggest, "ahhhh" moment comes from the luxurious, free-standing soaking tub for two. What a way to relax at the end of a long day.

The original bathroom on the main floor had an odd Jack-and-Jill layout with two toilets, two vanities and only a single tub/shower (in vintage mint green, no less). With some creative modifications to existing walls and the removal of a small linen closet, we were able to divide the space into two functional bathrooms – one of them now a true en suite master. In the master bathroom we chose a soothing palette of warm grays – the geometric floor tile was laid in a random pattern adding to the modern minimalist style. The slab front vanity has a mid-century vibe and feels at place in the home. Storage space is always at a premium in smaller bathrooms so we made sure there was ample countertop space and an abundance of drawers in the vanity. While calming grays were welcome in the bathroom, a saturated pop of color adds vibrancy to the master bedroom and creates a vibrant backdrop for furnishings.

Phase One took this traditional style Columbia home to the next level, renovating the master bath and kitchen areas to reflect new trends as well as increasing the usage and flow of the kitchen area. Client requested a regal, white bathroom while updating the master shower specifically.
