This is a breakfast area in a colonial style home with an open floor plan. The table is custom-made, reclaimed wood from a barn that was torn down in Lancaster County, PA. The legs were painted gray and red chairs bring energy to the soothing light-filled space. A glass and chrome chandelier adds to the open and airy feel.

The main level of this modern farmhouse is open, and filled with large windows. The black accents carry from the front door through the back mudroom. The dining table was handcrafted from alder wood, then whitewashed and paired with a bench and four custom-painted, reupholstered chairs.

For this built in banquette, we designed a maple wood banquette in an L-shaped complete with pull out drawers under the seating and a white painted finish on the maple wood banquette material.
Project designed by Skokie renovation firm, Chi Renovation & Design. They serve the Chicagoland area, and it's surrounding suburbs, with an emphasis on the North Side and North Shore. You'll find their work from the Loop through Lincoln Park, Skokie, Evanston, Wilmette, and all of the way up to Lake Forest.

Located on a serene country lane in an exclusive neighborhood near the village of Yountville. This contemporary 7352 +/-sq. ft. farmhouse combines sophisticated contemporary style with time-honored sensibilities. Pool, fire-pit and bocce court. 2 acre, including a Cabernet vineyard. We designed all of the interior floor plan layout, finishes, fittings, and consulted on the exterior building finishes.

Little Kitchen Bistro
Rustic and industrial little bistro restaurant
From twee cottage tearoom to rustic and industrial French bistro. This project required a total refit and features lots of bespoke joinery by Paul. We introduced a feature wall of brickwork and Victorian paneling to complement the period of the building and gave the client cosy nooks through banquet seating and steel mesh panels.
The open kitchen and bar area demanded attractive space storage solutions like the industrial shelving positioned above the counter.
Fisher Heck Architects
In order to save a historic childhood home, originally designed by renowned architect Alfred Giles, from being demolished after an estate stale, the current owners commissioned Fisher Heck to help document and dismantle their home for relocation out to the Hill Country. Every piece of stone, baluster, trim piece etc. was documented and cataloged so that it could be reassembled exactly like it was originally, much like a giant puzzle. The home, with its expansive front porch, now stands proud overlooking the sprawling landscape as a fully restored historic home that is sure to provide the owners with many more memories to come.
