very detailed staircase design - the hallway is very long with more than 24' of railings. we designed the baluster to soften the rhythm and make it more playful, while echoing the numerous beautiful arches around the house into the balusters designs. the top railing was custom from white washed oak to match the floors , and the stairs skirting on both sides designed to be flush with the drywall

This Hartland, Wisconsin basement is a welcoming teen hangout area and family space. The design blends both rustic and transitional finishes to make the space feel cozy. This space has it all – a bar, kitchenette, lounge area, full bathroom, game area and hidden mechanical/storage space. There is plenty of space for hosting parties and family movie nights. Highlights of this Hartland basement remodel: - We tied the space together with barnwood: an accent wall, beams and sliding door - The staircase was opened at the bottom and is now a feature of the room - Adjacent to the bar is a cozy lounge seating area for watching movies and relaxing - The bar features dark stained cabinetry and creamy beige quartz counters - Guests can sit at the bar or the counter overlooking the lounge area - The full bathroom features a Kohler Choreograph shower surround

Designed by Sue Tinker of Closet Works Drawer dividers make it easier to access a clothing item you are looking for in a flash. This arrangement can be used for many purposes including a sock and underwear drawer. Casual everyday items and more formalwear can each have their own compartment.

This home’s focal point is its gorgeous three-story center staircase. The staircase features continuous custom-made raised panel wainscoting on the walls throughout each of the three stories. Consisting of red oak hardwood flooring, the staircase has an oak banister painted posts. The outside tread features a scallop detail. This light and airy home in Chadds Ford, PA, was a custom home renovation for long-time clients that included the installation of red oak hardwood floors, the master bedroom, master bathroom, two powder rooms, living room, dining room, study, foyer and staircase. remodel included the removal of an existing deck, replacing it with a beautiful flagstone patio. Each of these spaces feature custom, architectural millwork and custom built-in cabinetry or shelving. A special showcase piece is the continuous, millwork throughout the 3-story staircase. Joe and Denise purchased a large Tudor style home that never truly fit their needs. While interviewing contractors to replace the roof and stucco on their home, it prompted them to consider a complete remodel. With two young daughters and pets in the home, our clients were convinced they needed an open concept to entertain and enjoy family and friends together. The couple also desired a blend of traditional and contemporary styles with sophisticated finishes for the project. JRP embarked on a new floor plan design for both stories of the home. The top floor would include a complete rearrangement of the master suite allowing for separate vanities, spacious master shower, soaking tub, and bigger walk-in closet. On the main floor, walls separating the kitchen and formal dining room would come down. Steel beams and new SQFT was added to open the spaces up to one another. Central to the open-concept layout is a breathtaking great room with an expansive 6-panel bi-folding door creating a seamless view to the gorgeous hills. It became an entirely new space with structural changes, additional living space, and all-new finishes, inside and out to embody our clients’ dream home.
