This bar hutch was made from tow existing lower cabinets used to blend seamlessly with new uppers. The stain glass doors have antique glass with a custom pattern made locally by a stain glass artisan.

Embracing an authentic Craftsman-styled kitchen was one of the primary objectives for these New Jersey clients. They envisioned bending traditional hand-craftsmanship and modern amenities into a chef inspired kitchen. The woodwork in adjacent rooms help to facilitate a vision for this space to create a free-flowing open concept for family and friends to enjoy. This kitchen takes inspiration from nature and its color palette is dominated by neutral and earth tones. Traditionally characterized with strong deep colors, the simplistic cherry cabinetry allows for straight, clean lines throughout the space. A green subway tile backsplash and granite countertops help to tie in additional earth tones and allow for the natural wood to be prominently displayed. The rugged character of the perimeter is seamlessly tied into the center island. Featuring chef inspired appliances, the island incorporates a cherry butchers block to provide additional prep space and seating for family and friends. The free-standing stainless-steel hood helps to transform this Craftsman-style kitchen into a 21st century treasure.

The kitchen, butler’s pantry, and laundry room uses Arbor Mills cabinetry and quartz counter tops. Wide plank flooring is installed to bring in an early world feel. Encaustic tiles and black iron hardware were used throughout. The butler’s pantry has polished brass latches and cup pulls which shine brightly on black painted cabinets. Across from the laundry room the fully custom mudroom wall was built around a salvaged 4” thick seat stained to match the laundry room cabinets.

This Columbus, Ohio, kitchen remodel gets its name from the splashes of color in the backsplash that help add a little visual interest to the space and pull color inspiration from the Venetian White granite countertops. The cabinetry is Starmark's Farmington style in Paprika Ebony. The Elkay sink and Moen kitchen faucet are perfectly placed below a window - with a great views to the back yard.

Berry Craig, the owner of Reclaimed Wood Creations Inc. searched the country to find the right woods to make this home a reflection of his abilities and a work of art. Innis Arden Whole House Remodel - Phase 3

H2D worked with this family for several years on their phased whole house remodel on their Innis Arden home. At the start of the design process, H2D developed a master plan for the whole house. The project was broken into three phases and constructed over a series of several years. Phase three consisted of remodeling the main floor of the home. The kitchen was relocated and enlarged for better functionality and to take advantage of the views. You want the style of your kitchen to reflect your personality and taste.
