Our wood deck tiles was used extensively in the remodel of the L'Auberge in Del Mar California. This is a premium product designed specifically for the rigorous demands of the hospitality industry and discerning designers and architects. This install saved the hotel 4 weeks of install time and helped facilitate their reopening on a timely basis.
We use the finest grade FSC certified Ipe and mill it to perfection, bevel all the edges and attached it with stainless steel screws to high quality polypropylene backings that have a patented interlocking tab system for easy installation.
Our decking tiles are designed to disburse the weight of the tile and and heavy loads evenly so as to maintain the integrity of the locking tab system and to be suitable for any water proof or roof top patio membrane.
If you are looking to create an amazing roof top patio, condo balcony or style up some drab deck or tired concrete, these super simple to install deck tiles are the perfect solution to designing something stunning.

Tri-level aluminum deck with firetable. LED rope lighting was used under the handrails to provide ambient lighting. A cable railing system was installed to allow for a more broad visual sight line from any point on the deck. A matching deck skirt was added to conceal the framing and create a dry storage area for the homeowners.

Flavin Architects
Set in the garden beside a traditional Dutch Colonial home in Wellesley, Flavin conceived this boldly modern retreat, built of steel, wood and concrete. The building is designed to engage the client’s passions for gardening, entertaining and restoring vintage Vespa scooters. The Vespa repair shop and garage are on the first floor. The second floor houses a home office and veranda. On top is a roof deck with space for lounging and outdoor dining, surrounded by a vegetable garden in raised planters. The structural steel frame of the building is left exposed; and the side facing the public side is draped with a mahogany screen that creates privacy in the building and diffuses the dappled light filtered through the trees. This shows the mbrico tile decking. Mbrico is an Italian porcelain tile with a synthetic backing that slides into a track system. We use these on our decks and they can be mixed with other types of decking such as hardwood, timbertech, composite or cedar.
