Greene Designs LLCThis Parisian paradise was designed for a very special young girl. Her Mother contacted Greene Designs looking for someone to create the room her daughter had been dreaming about for years. Due to an accident when she was an infant she has had to endure hundreds of surgeries over her life. When I heard her story I knew she was deserving of something wonderful. Her Mother and I set out to create a room that has a touch of Parisian sophistication (a place they hope to visit soon), and the fun and whimsy of a pre-teen’s room. This bedroom includes a daybed with a trundle perfect for sleepovers, a charming nightstand with a bit of “bling”, a vanity where she can do her makeup, a dresser with a mirror, and a chandelier. The paint and accessories pulled the room together completing the Parisian design. I was so happy to be chosen to design a room for such a fun, sweet, and courageous young lady.
Roland Oehme Landscape ArchitectureThis is a small garden (approx. 600 sq. ft.) next to a corner townhome in an urban setting in Baltimore’s popular Hampden neighborhood. We transformed this former weed patch into a thriving and beautiful pollinator garden of mostly native plants. The client specifically wanted flowering plants for all pollinators, but especially hummingbirds, and the garden was to be bird friendly as well. I designed the garden and installed it with the help of landscape contractors. I located a water fountain against the rear wall. The client also desired a vine to cover the rear wall so I selected the Trumpet Vine which is growing beautifully. I continue to oversee the maintenance of this garden.

Putney DesignJerry Hiam - Putney Design, Putney VT 05346. Crab apples grow quickly throughout New England (and similar climates in Europe), and produce a choice of bloom colors in great profusion just when we want to be outdoors in mid to late spring. This tree is planted in a front yard; you will find crab's a good neighbor with lawn grass if you prune them up high enough to mow under. Check the mature size of your choice... they are fast growers!
