This Parisian paradise was designed for a very special young girl. Her Mother contacted Greene Designs looking for someone to create the room her daughter had been dreaming about for years. Due to an accident when she was an infant she has had to endure hundreds of surgeries over her life. When I heard her story I knew she was deserving of something wonderful. Her Mother and I set out to create a room that has a touch of Parisian sophistication (a place they hope to visit soon), and the fun and whimsy of a pre-teen’s room. This bedroom includes a daybed with a trundle perfect for sleepovers, a charming nightstand with a bit of “bling”, a vanity where she can do her makeup, a dresser with a mirror, and a chandelier. The paint and accessories pulled the room together completing the Parisian design. I was so happy to be chosen to design a room for such a fun, sweet, and courageous young lady.

Following the refurbishment of their kitchen, our Hemel Hempstead clients wanted us to give their daughters bedroom a budget makeover. She had trouble sleeping in her existing bedroom. Her brief was anything pink and she wanted her name on the wall. We sprinkled a little magic and she absolutely loved the results!

The front entryway greets you will a bright bubblegum pink, and a quick-access storage bench to take on and off your shoes and coats. The front door features a mail slot and single pane of glass.

Les enfants grandissent! Leurs gouts évoluent, leur mode de vie et besoins également. C'est donc naturel que leur chambre suive le rythme. Ici, un garçon de 7 ans voulait une chambre de grand "trop classe" avec des super héros. Nous en avons profité pour réaménager les espaces. Mur de briques L'ambiance industrielle est apportée par le mur de papier peint effet briques sur le manteau de cheminée et les accessoires en métal vieilli.

Young teen girls bedroom, pretty in pink. The funky springs for legs add a bit of fun. There is a large pull out drawer under the bed for extra storage. The futon sofa opens up into a bed for sleepovers. We moved the location of the door to the family bathroom to create an ensuite. Her study desk is under the velux window to bathe it in light. The wardrobe doors were changed to glass sliders for a more contemporary look.
