A full glass entry into this fabulous wine room is only the beginning. Custom, dark-stained mahogany racking in a variety of styles houses this clients collection to perfection. Dedicated space to display wine treasures, keep bulk lots of wine together, counters to decant, shelving for cigars and other related wine room contents.

This was a clever way to use the awkward space under the stairs. A glass door was used to allow this space to be visible from the Great Room.

Luxurious modern take on a traditional white Italian villa. An entry with a silver domed ceiling, painted moldings in patterns on the walls and mosaic marble flooring create a luxe foyer. Into the formal living room, cool polished Crema Marfil marble tiles contrast with honed carved limestone fireplaces throughout the home, including the outdoor loggia. Ceilings are coffered with white painted
crown moldings and beams, or planked, and the dining room has a mirrored ceiling. Bathrooms are white marble tiles and counters, with dark rich wood stains or white painted. The hallway leading into the master bedroom is designed with barrel vaulted ceilings and arched paneled wood stained doors. The master bath and vestibule floor is covered with a carpet of patterned mosaic marbles, and the interior doors to the large walk in master closets are made with leaded glass to let in the light. The master bedroom has dark walnut planked flooring, and a white painted fireplace surround with a white marble hearth.
The kitchen features white marbles and white ceramic tile backsplash, white painted cabinetry and a dark stained island with carved molding legs. Next to the kitchen, the bar in the family room has terra cotta colored marble on the backsplash and counter over dark walnut cabinets. Wrought iron staircase leading to the more modern media/family room upstairs.

A complete remodel of a 70s-era home re-imagines its original post-modern architecture. The new design emphasizes details such as a phoenix motif (significant to the family) that appears on a fountain as well as at the living room fireplace surround, both designed by the firm. Mahogany paneling, stone and walnut flooring, elaborate ceiling treatments, steel picture windows that frame panoramic views, and carved limestone window surrounds contribute new texture and character.

Chamber Furniture
Chamber Furniture created the entire Wine Room space including the glazed walnut doors to ensure the wine collection is not only stored at the optimum temperature but presented beautifully. The clear-lacquered walnut complements the bronze wine racks and the angled shelves display the magnums and champagne for maximum impact.

Once the sauna parts were removed and the area properly insulated/sealed, our wine cellar builders installed the California custom wine racking. As you can see, the wine tasting table was created from a diamond bin rack. The lattice arch with an art piece in the background is the focal point of the wine room.
We also incorporated display rows, individual bottle slots, and a quarter round display rack into the design to create a more appealing wine display.

This closet was converted to a very small wine cellar for our Vancouver area client. Racking on the upper half was single bottle depth so as not to run into the cooling unit that is mounted through the header at the top of the cellar. We then went with double deep wine racking on the bottom half to increase capacity and create a serving area.
The racking used in this cellar was from our Blue Grouse modular series, modified to fit the space but keep costs down, as opposed to a fully-custom solution.
