The owners having exquisite taste have kept to the KISS method. The travertine stone coping and deck, long parallel tile design, compliments the 16 x 38 Fiberglass pool. A retirement pool with no maintenance for finish and very little upkeep; Low Country living at it's best.

We worked with our client to design a modified rectangle that would complement the serene coastal setting and natural property curves. The interior pool steps, benches, and lounge areas are situated facing outward from the home so that swimmers can enjoy the stunning view. The pool is finished with an expansive Bluestone deck set in a random rectangular pattern.

What a striking home! This home in South Baton Rouge was designed by Cockfield-Jackson and the clients wanted a complete landscape design that would accompany the architecture of this A. Hays Town inspired home.
Featured in this design are a substantial entertainment area in the rear, complete with an outdoor kitchen (built by Joffrion Construction) expansive pool with water feature wall, and a bluestone courtyard. Additionally, this home features a quaint side yard complete with brick steps leading to a bluestone courtyard with an antique sugar kettle fountain. The clients also needed options for guests to park. A circular driveway in the front provided a grand entrance, as well as ample parking for plenty of guests.

This pool has a natural stone waterfall, a beach entry (walk-in pool), and a spa. The large outdoor kitchen makes for a perfect area for entertaining guests.

When the owner first moved into this property, the backyard was overwhelming and underused. He wanted to create a space for easy, frequent entertaining. The first step was a large pool & guest house built perpendicular to the main house to create a private, semi-enclosed courtyard. Next we designed and constructed an over-sized rectangular swimming pool & spa with minimal interior features and extensive lighting so that the size of the pool would become the focal point of the outdoor living space. The entire courtyard was connected with an expansive, random rectangular, bluestone patio.
