Decomposed granite panels with limestone curbing generate a high-impact visual for a low-impact space. Large containers at opposite ends of the panels help define the space, adding another level of interest. Landscape design by Josh Griffin.

This Highland Park home on Westway was built in 1929 and loaded with character. The homeowner was looking to remodel the pool but wanted to know if they should consider a redesign that included removal of the old pool and coming back with a new pool and landscape that was cohesive. They opted for the latter and this is the result. A more modern pool to transition the style a little, a new fire pit for the family to enjoy and a lot more usable space.

Salvia leucantha "Midnight'/Mexican bush sage. This front garden with low-water Mediterranean plants in shades of green replaced a thisty lawn and beautifully complements the transitional style home. New concrete pavers provide a clear, attractive entry as well as “landing spots” along the the driveway.
Coy Land Techs
Coy Land Techs created a butterfly garden that will also attract other pollinators. The goal of the project was successful on day one. The plants and color selection bring warmth to space.

This was a complete garden redo. We installed a brand new horizontal fence and stained black, install stucco raised beds with a floating bench flanked by planter beds. All the raised beds were topped with a beautiful flag stone cats. The patio service was redone and pavers. Landscape lighting was installed as a place on the trees and down lights underneath the bench for a dramatic affect during the evening.
LunnScape
Most landscape lighting today is low voltage, and for good reason. Unlike 120-volt systems, it's safer to work with and less costly to install. And though low-voltage lights receive one-tenth the power, thanks to a step-down transformer, meaning that we can achieve any effect you want, from moonlight shining from a canopy of trees to a subtle glow that washes across a low wall. More than just picking the right hardware, a pleasing lighting scheme is also about artistry.
