Less is more. Less clutter, in other words, allows for more style and serenity. Here, we’ve gone for clean geometric lines and a breezy, minimalist palette.
You can see that the simple green and white colour scheme is at once cooling in the summer and brightening in the winter. And it opens up space all year round. Meanwhile, we decided to include the metallic vases and water feature to bring in a modern style. This beautiful garden has the added advantage of being very low-maintenance.

Our client wanted a maintenance free yard with no grass and minimal plantings. We designed and constructed a simple but very effective yard that suited their young family well. With a synthetic grass area for their children to play (and a future play structure) as well as a large paver patio for a dining table and chimenea for gatherings, this yard is all about enjoying the moments, not doing yard work!! We dressed it up with a few trees that will grow to provide some privacy as well as a nice cedar fence and privacy screens. Concrete edging rounds out the project that will ensure many years of enjoyment with no hassles!!
Blooming Desert
This modern space offers maximum outdoor living for the homeowners with minimum maintenance with the use of 2' x 2' paver slabs, Mexican Beach Pebble and River Rock Mulch, drought tolerant plant material, drip irrigation and synthetic lawn.

The deep greenery offered by Manzanita evidences its stamina in holding hydration. Its stiff, blade like leaves are beautifully competent ember catchers, and, like the Coast Live Oak, it protects both the deck and home. Its architectural, hardwood branches will resist fire and burn slowly when they do ignite. Their roots are also useful slope retainers. Photo: Lesly Hall Photography
