We needed to repaint the exterior of our home and fencing. Julie from Sojo Design spent time with us to choose a colour scheme that would last as well as compliment the surrounding landscape and homes. She helped us look outside the 'box' with colour and this resulted in a fabulous finished product we are proud to look at daily. We decided to renovate prior to selling . Our house needed modernizing and updating - Julie spent a lot of time choosing the exterior paint colours - roof and house to coordinate with the existing garage doors . It looks amazing and has created a great first impression of our home. She also helped us choose tiles and vanities for the bathrooms and had some great advice about improving the layout in our ensuite. Julie also sourced rugs and cushions for our family room. Julie is very particular and conscientious about getting a result that the client is happy with . She has amazing ideas and a lot of contacts and is a pleasure to work with .

Julie helped me choose colours for my new house - both internal and external - and also furnishings. Her guidance was fantastic, and I am thrilled with the results. Julie was able to help me choose colours that I like that would work with the house and setting, in a way that I could never have done myself. Through Julie I have had access to furniture suppliers and manufacturers I would not have been able to access as a person off the street, and that has enabled me to have custom made furniture, and high quality ready made furniture, at an affordable price. The cost of her consultation has been very reasonable and worth every cent. I would hire Julie again in a heartbeat.

I hired Julie Rees from Sojo Design to help me complete the renovation of the family home. My husband had recently passed away mid renovation, and the prospect of going through this project without help was overwhelming. Her skills and flair for design were a factor in me engaging her, and she did not disappoint - I could not have done it without her! Julie's contacts and sources in her field are impressionable, at every turn she was available for assistance (from sourcing specialty wallpaper to visiting the building site to deal with problems that regularly arose). Julie would go above and beyond her duties, picking up and delivering furniture, paint and material samples, and most importantly, relieving my stress during the whole process with her professionalism. This was quite a large project and endured for a year; during this time, we worked closely together picking paint, wallpaper, blinds, tiles, crafting a new kitchen, going over the electrical layout, and purchasing new furniture. She has a real passion for her craft, and quickly gauged my taste and wants, which I feel is vitally important in an interior designer.

Julie is an experienced professional with an eye for detail. Julie is easy and uncomplicated to work with. She will work within a scope or budget and suggest interesting interesting design aspects.
