About Us

Urban Blinds is a NZ owned and operated business specialising in the design, supply, and installation of window furnishings throughout NZ. We believe in providing an exceptional customer experience through a modern approach to furnishing your windows. For those that favor convenience and speed we offer an intuitive online ordering experience and back this up with a team of design experts that can take your call and answer any question you may have. For those that prefer the traditional approach we also offer an in-home consultation service. We provide a range of on-trend window furnishing options including roller blinds, venetian blinds, roman blinds, curtains and shutters made from fabrics chosen from leading fabric houses that are tested and made to last in NZ conditions. We also specialise in automated and motorised solutions to put the wow factor into your home.

These guys were able to correct our ordering mistake (1150 instaed on 1015mm that it should have been) in less than a day for very little cost. Awesome team and service!

I ordered blinds on line with a fast delivery time needed and Urban Blinds made the blinds in double quick time then followed up on the courier to ensure they were delivered on time. Nothing seemed too much trouble and I would deal with them again.

I have just received my Venetian blinds and everything was perfect in every way. I would recommend this site to anyone. A tip for blind measuring beg borrow or steal a laser measure as this makes the job so much easier and the finished product spot on. Lynn Rowland

Our blinds took a wee bit longer than expected, and were broken on arrival, urban very quickly responded by sending new parts. These things do happen but it is the way that companies solve problems that make them stand out. Great job Urban blinds.

We used Urban blinds to fit our our whole house in new blinds. From the minute we were in contact they were just awesome answering our questions, providing samples, measuring for us and then installing they were friendly, professional and above all else very competitive with their pricing. Urban Blinds are so great to deal with. I have ordered perhaps 6 rooms of blinds over the last 2 years. The website/ordering system is user friendly, the blinds are fantastic quality and are produced and delivered efficiently. The team are great to deal with, and are quick to respond to questions. I recommend them to all my family and friends and I will be using them again myself during our current renovations.

Amazing service- couldn’t recommend Urban Blinds more! We purchased roller blinds and white wooden Venetians for our new build in Millwater. Fast delivery, and incredible response when we had a query about fitting the linked roller blinds for our big stacking ranch sliders. Free resizing of blinds when the fit wasn’t quite right, and they even offered to redeliver the blinds the next day. I’ve gone with the big companies before and had an experience that was an absolute headache, Urban Blinds couldn’t have made us happier with their service - you can’t go wrong with them!

The team at Urban Blinds did a really great job with our house. They were thorough in their planning and measure and were quick to respond to any changes. As with most building projects, things don't always go perfectly and sometimes need some adjustment or problem solving - what impressed me with UB was how committed they were to delivering a job that I was 100% satisfied with! They had good communication and did what needed to be done! We love our roller blinds, especially the electric blinds in our main living area.

Urban blinds' team are very professional from initial discussion on the blinds options we can choose for different rooms and different purposes/ functions to giving advice on fabric types and colour scheme. Great communication and professional services. We will recommend to anyone that are looking for good quality blinds at reasonable prices.
