Comments (3)What a fun space! Love the pillows...I agree with above, lower all the frames, but not so low little ones can reach. The art should fall at eye level about 5'4" for walls and for behind the sofa not more than 12" above it. Then keep the width about 5" inside the sofa length on each side. Your frames are small so you need the close together for impact. I would start with some pretty curtains for the door and large window and then a simple Roman shade for the small window- since your girls play there you don't want anything they will grab hold of. http://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/query/how-to-hang-a-photo-gallery...See MoreI need help in my living area
Comments (12)Hey! Great space! The table is too small for the space, it would immediately help if you had head chairs on either end of the table. It would read larger. If you're interested in a new dining set, try a round dining table, seating at least 6 for size. You need something to define each space, a new furniture arrangement could help. I would try rotating the sectional so that its off of the window. Good Luck!...See MoreNeed interior design help with this room
Comments (6)The market is full of tropical/botanical art at the moment which lend themselves well to tropical or beachy looks. The look you are after calls for natural textures with a soft colour palette, think linen bedding and layer it up with throws and cushions for texture and pops of colour. In my opinion drapes are not a good option in your room as the ceiling slopes to just above your window at a certain point. This would dictate the height at which your drapes hang and, in this instance would be too low. To soften the windows, I would have a tall palm or Fiddle Leaf Fig tree in wicker basket. It also looks like you have the space for a chair....See MoreNeed help for my backyard!
Comments (5)You could lay a nice curved shape garden by the corner of fence and plant layers starting with 2-3 mtr trees at back down to 50-70 cm high plants at front. This will soften the fence line and give you something to look at while on the slab. Something for the kids also like a small structure to play in, on and around would complete a nice family back yard. If you are handy you can make you own small play ground copying parts of a local ground or there are kit sets available. Good luck,...See MoreUser
