We are considering using an outside junk room as a pool table room for our children, but am unsure if the room is large enough. How much extra width would be needed around the table to be able to use cues comfortably? Thanks
You should have minimum 5 ft but 6 ft is ideal. I've played pool where tables are 4 ft from the wall and it is too close. The standard pool cue length is 57" and the draw length is about 6" so 5 to 6 ft would be ideal.
Thank you for the advice. I will measure up but suspect we will be a tad small - I will have to come up with another way to use the room (other than hubbies junk!!)
