Good morning Leila. Absolutely! We have some leather fabric samples for you to get a feel. Otherwise you can give us the name or supplier of the leather that you want. All of our sofas are completely bespoke when made to your specification. Do you happen to live anywhere near our showrooms? It might be worth popping in if you can to have a look at our leather and fabric ranges or discuss specifics with our specialists.

Brilliant. Can you give me an idea of the starting price for this sofa in 2-seater size and leather please?

That's a fabulous idea. I don't like that front board but it's lacquered to coordinate with the cupboards, so ot couldn't be painted . I could keep the stools and improve the hated kickboard. That would be a double win. Although a lower back would be nice. I kind of like those white lattice designer ones, would they be too busy?

Anything can be done, it's just a matter of cost. For a job that size, I would try a local makerspace if you have one of those in your city. Hopefully there will be an artisan of some kind who can help you with it. Otherwise, maybe call a hipstery reclaimed furniture store and see if they know of a small business or artist who can make something for you.

Need help deciding on what colour to stain floor boards

Get the professional sander guys in to repair the living areas and kitchen but don't go too dark with the stain as it will kill the lovely grain in the matai. I'm thinking a couple of tones richer than the timber knots showing in your photo, definitely no yellow tone at all. In NZ stepping on to carpet especially in a kiwi winter is so much nicer than a cold floor board shock!!! A nice area rug for the lounge and you're done.
