Thanks for the question - I can check with my contractor, but if I remember correctly, we did a standard shower pan and waterproofed it as if it were going to be tiled over, but dropped the whole pan low enough for the teak slats to be flush with the limestone floor. There was a simple standard drain, under the rain shower head. Hope that helps!
