Thank you for your question. This is a reply from the home owner: "The Seagrass limestone is holding up great. Like marble, it will etch, but you hardly see it because of the gray/green color and all of the beautiful shells. My friend has had her stone for years, and it looks great! Seagrass limestone is one of the harder limestones."
