If you use masonry paint, we could head in a warm greige direction for all of it - not so yellow . .. something that can give you a bit more contrast against the white windows and trim - even 40 does a lot for us . . . what about a blue green gray? You need light and bright. Being rented is tough. First change out the drapes with to the floor length. Cream with a horizontal stripe of brown to match or furniture. This will 1. get rid of the horrid things hanging there 2. pull the initial visual to that wall instead of the floor. Tall and high colors ( mango, aqua, yellow) decorations on your mantel with shorter cream and brown items. Then a large square table in the middle, painted distressed cream, with high color items setting on it. DIY project or Ikea. Green is the number one calming color, just don't let it put you to sleep. :)

I would go with a gold or yellow ... of course I happen to love teal/ turquoise and gold/ yellow together. Something in variations on the photos below... maybe some pink accents if you have a girl or lime green or blue accents if you have a boy.

Hi guys, we have this vent done yesterday, it seems to be a little bit awkward. This job has been done by a qualified building company. They drilled a hole at the blue circle first and found that there is a studs cross(two studs show in red) there, they leave a hole at the blue circle (but studs are not drilled) and then moved to the place where the vent is now in the picture(green circle), but they still had to cut a piece of the horizontal stud (green shade) off to put the vent on, I saw the top right corner of the vent was broken before they put the cover on, and they put a whiteboard to cover the blue hole as well. So my question is that is this fully compliant and did they actually make a mistake while doing this? I haven't paid so what the best practice I can do next. Thank you very much for your help!
