What a fun space! Love the pillows...I agree with above, lower all the frames, but not so low little ones can reach. The art should fall at eye level about 5'4" for walls and for behind the sofa not more than 12" above it. Then keep the width about 5" inside the sofa length on each side. Your frames are small so you need the close together for impact. Hi I just moved to a new home. One of the rules is nothing can be done to the walls. The walls are all off white. How can I decorate ? I’m unable to hang pictures or paint and I am terrified of using decals in case they tear the walls when I eventually leave. Please Help!

Purchasing this 2400 sq foot home near the beach. Love the open floor plan but want to update it. We are definitely planning to redo kitchen and floors and paint but am stumped with how it all should be laid out. The main floor consists of kitchen, LR, and sitting room which currently houses the dining room table. I am considering having the wood fireplace removed altogether as it doesn't get much use in low-country SC but am not sure how to lay out the room without it, e.g., where should LR go and on which wall should TV go? Also considering converting the f/p to electric so that it is not a hazard and can be the focal point of room and place to mount TV. The home will also be used for short-term rentals so having a TV and dining room table are essential. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

What is the best way to remove wall paper that has been painted over? I have tried a Selley's wall paper removal (a powder mixed into hot water then applied to the walls), but because of the paint, it doesn't soak into the wall paper, and therefore is useless. If nothing else works, i may just look at removing the gib board completely, and starting afresh (the exterior walls could probably do with new insulation at the same time!).
