if in very run down condition allow for that in the sale price but don't change just for resale...it's unlikely you would recoup the cost and could put off buyers who prefer to buy in original condition and do their own reno to suit themselves
I see that a lot nowadays in renovated old houses listed for sale, it seems very trendy but I don't understand the functionality of it. Like me me asked, is it the only bathroom in the house? And how many bedrooms does it serve? What benefits do you envisage? Are you planning to sell or just keeping future implications in mind?
In a two bathroom house I might put up with it, in a one bathroom house no thanks.
