Ensuite bathroom transformation – before & after

The ensuite of this home built in the early 1970s was well overdue for an update along with incorporating more light into the space.
The client changed the orientation of the bathroom and we had the job of choosing all selections and window treatments.
The ensuite windows look out to a hills garden and a winter creek, the association with water together with the client's treasured Waterhouse print of "Circe" became the inspiration for the bathroom's scheme.
We added in grey marble floor tiles with blue undertones, giving the floor a feeling of fluid movement. The unrecognisable Roman blinds were transformed with stunning waterlily linen fabric which fit in so well with the overall theme. This material was taken into the main bedroom with coordinating textures and stripes to the curtains and bedding.
