Hi all,I have timber panelling all around the house and wants it to be updated with a 2 tone colour. The upper part will be white but not sure what to colour the bottom bit.Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.TIACarmel
paint everything white.. the texture of the panels will add the contrast
I agree with oklouise. Keep it simple and chic or the space will date much quicker.

The cornice dates the room though. So what are you turning to achieve with a new look
Just updating the look with a two tone paint.I’m not fuss with the cornice as it’s an older style house, don’t want it to be very modern though
I agree with white or if you're set on a two tone look, a light grey would still look fresh and clean.
Yes I’m leaning towards white and grey
I'd do the timber white and paint the wall in your colour instead rather than the other way around
