This client is a growing family with 2 kids, they loved their apartment being very close to the beach but they have lived in it for more than a decade, so it was in much need of a re-design of the space to adapt to a growing family. They also wanted to give it a fresh look, by injecting light into the space and have the interiors reflect the close proximity to the beach.

Although the family loves watching TV, the layout of the room was so inconvenient cause they thought they always have to put the sofas against the walls and they did put the TV in a corner side of the living room, they had so much clutter in the balcony while they were using it as study.

We have come up with a new layout in which our design, we moved the sofas in the consolation to show them how they can use the space more effectively.

We also recommended painting the walls with a crisp white (white on white from Dulux) and changed Venetian blinds to roller blinds to allow natural light in, even when blinds are down. As a finishing touch, we recommend adding pendant light in timber to add an accent to the space.

We changed all furniture, added artwork, vases, cushions and we got our handyman to do all the installation.
