Hi everyone! We are ripping our ensuite out as the original builder never supplied a water proofing certificate & it doesn’t fit with the rest of the house - will be all pulled out down to the studs. Just after everyone’s thoughts on layouts - there will be one feature wall behind the vanity with fibre cement cladding that looks like shiplap - going to paint it navy. White subway tiles on the walls up to 100mm high. Just need to decide which layout to go with.

Option 1 has insufficient knee room when your won the loo and option 2 opens right into a view of the toilet. So my vote is the existing layout.

If you keep original layout and enter the shower from the toilet side, you could extend the length of the vanity to the wall.

Do you want this to be a big reno? meaning, will you replace things totally or do you want to work with what you have mostly? will you add a toilet to the bathroom? if you replace the vanity, you can put in a larger one curving around the corner with a medicine cabinet above. If you replace the shower with one flat on the ground, you can also put in clear doors for bigger visual space. how about re-painting as well

Personally, it's better to have a wall between the bathroom and the toilet so no one gets walked in on. Definitely a good idea to keep the bath in case of reselling, although are you planning on going anywhere? If not, get rid of the bath and get a bigger shower I think.

Hi All We are trying to renovate our bathrooms and after alot of difficulty getting quotes and then getting extremely high prices we have decided to do it ourselves (well what we can do). I will be getting new vanity and basins for all bathroom, can anyone tell me how easy it is or how to change 2 taps to 1? The basin will have the holes for the taps but I can find a video on how to merge hot and cold pipes. Any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance Romina

David I didn’t do this but have just been playing with the 3D planner on the Reece plumbing website, easy to use but may have some limitations. I have a 1200 bath and used a obstacle to replicate
